We will be at the next Family History Fair
in 2011

We often attend various fairs both in and out of Kirkcaldy to promote the work of the society.

The Fife Family History Fair is one we always attend. This popular fair attracts not only local people but also people from abroad.It is held every two years and its venue is now the Rothes Halls in Glenrothes. Originally it was held at the Adam Smith Theatre.

The photos below are from the 2009 Family History Fair.

Our stall (above and left) attracted a steady stream of visitors throughout the day. We also took the opportunity to visit other groups exhibits. Some items were purchased for our archives including a cd-rom of the names on Fife’s War Memorials which will help us in our research work.

The next fair will be held in 2011.
