HAWKLYMUIR FACTORY

KIRKCALDY CIVIC SOCIETY

The old factory stands on the corner of Park Road and Lawson Street. It was built in 1853. In recent times the building has been used as a store by the council but may soon be demolished.

On the front of the building is carved the name ‘Hawklymuir Factory.’. It has scrolled skewputts on the chimney stacks.
