Kirkcaldy Civic Society and the Boys Brigade held an unveiling ceremony of a plaque telling the history of the Victoria Halls in Victoria Road, Kirkcaldy.

 

After an introductory speech by Mrs Watters Ex-Provost Robert King, OBE, unveiled the plaque and during his speech he told the gathered group of the time he went to the Halls to enlist into the army when the Second World War broke out.

It had started to rain and so, after the speeches had been made, the group went to the nearby Victoria Hotel for refreshments and where the Vote of Thanks was given by Mr Galloway.
