Sunday 22nd June 2008 Despite heavy rain in the morning it was decided to carry on with the event and we were fortunate that the rain stayed away during the afternoon. The picture left shows drummer Russell Wilson leading 'Captain James Oswald' and his wife across the bridge into the castle grounds. |

Mrs Watters told the people who had gathered for the event of several plaques KCS intend to unveil in the near future that are connected in some way to the Oswalds. |

| As usual most of the rooms in the castle were opened up. Children especially like to explore the castle. Although we had cancelled Medieval Methils appearance due to the poor weather Margaret Hunter from the group came and delighted the people at the event with storytelling. |
